At least 19 teachers invigilating ongoing national exams at a school in Bobachoge Borabu in Kisii County were Tuesday interdicted following the discovery of more than 30 phones at the exam centre. Kebabe SDA secondary school principal and his deputy are among those interdicted as officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations started a probe. A staggering cluster of 31 phones were seized from the school’s boys dormitory. An additional three others were recovered inside the exam room, officials said. A family in Nyamira is distressed after fire swept through its timber house Wednesday morning killing three children as they slept.  The deceased aged four, nine and 12 were burnt beyond recognition in the 1 am incident, police and locals said. A popular Kisii County based lawyer has rubbished the ambitious bid by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei to extend the term of stay in office of the President. The proposed law further seeks to elongate the term of service for the Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of County Assembly (MCAs) and governors. At least four women were killed Monday in a long night of gang land style slaughter across Nyamira County.  The killings have since sparked fear of a gang on the lose targeting women.
