Stop by the Foodwise Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
Nichole Accettola is a CIA-trained chef with years of experience in both professional kitchens and teaching culinary arts, abroad in Denmark as well as in the US. As the owner of Kantine, a Scandinavian-inspired café located in San Francisco, Nichole showcases her gorgeous pastries, porridges and jewel-like smørrebrød sandwiches which have garnered glowing reviews from media such as San Francisco Chronicle, Time Out, and Eater. She is the author of the new cookbook Scandinavian from Scratch (Ten Speed Press, October 3, 2023).
All demos take place in the Foodwise Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all. The demo will be followed by a book signing at Book Passage inside the Ferry Building at 12:00 pm.
