Donate to Foodwise to support small, sustainable farms and critical food access for your community.

You have the power to build a food system that works—one that makes fresh food available to all, supports local farmers, and empowers youth to live healthy lives. Your tax-deductible donation directly supports Foodwise farmers markets, food access initiatives, and education programs, which serve more than 130 local farms and small food businesses, and thousands of Bay Area youth and their families.

Foodwise (formerly CUESA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal Taxpayer ID Number 94-3212988; registered with the IRS as “Foodwise Community”). All donations to Foodwise are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donate in tribute

Your generous donation could be doubled or tripled if your employer offers a matching gift program (check here). Contact your employer’s Human Resources department to see if they will match your gift to Foodwise. For more information or to request documentation to qualify for a matching gift, contact Cindy Mendoza at cindy@foodwise.org or (415) 291-3276 x103.

If you have a donor advised fund (DAF), making a gift to Foodwise is very easy. Simply contact your DAF representative directly and recommend a donation in support of Foodwise. Provide your DAF representative with the following information:

  • The amount of your donation
  • Foodwise’s Federal Taxpayer ID Number: 94-3212988
  • Our mailing address: Foodwise, 1 Ferry Building, Suite 250, San Francisco, CA 94111

By giving appreciated property like stocks, bonds, or mutual funds, you can support Foodwise at a lower cost to you. To arrange for the transfer of stock, please contact Christine Farren at christine@foodwise.org or (415) 291-3276 x101 for our account information.
