About

The Giacomini family’s farm is home to 330 milking Holsteins and Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company. The family began cheese production in August of 2000 with their flagship cheese, Original Blue. Since then, they have expanded their product line to include Toma, Bay Blue, and Aged Gouda. All cheeses made by Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company are certified gluten-free and all-natural. About 25% of the cow’s feed is grown on the farm and the other 75% is sourced from California Farms. Operating on MALT protected land, and as a Leopold Conservation Award recipient, PRFCC prides itself in sustainability, humane practices, and community support.

Certification

Kosher; 100% of the land is certified organic, but their products are not certified.
