Kisumu city will be hosting the Cecafa Senior challenge semi finals slated for Thursday December 14.
Kenyan National team Harambee stars are set to face Burundi in what is expected to be a colorful fete and will hopefully bring back patriotism in Kenya.

Famously known to be the Home of Kogalo or National champions Gor Mahia , Kisumu residents are expected to come out and support their Gor Mahia stars among other Harambee Stars players in pomp and color as they always do.
Kisumu county governor Anyang Nyong’o had promised to make Kisumu a place open for investors and visitors and this Cecafa Senior challenge semi final will serve as his first test.
The other semi final between Uganda and Zanzibar will is also expected to kick off on the same day. Ugandan fans are expected to stream in numbers to support the Uganda Cranes.
The finals, awards and closing ceremony are expected to be held in Machakos county on Sunday, December 17.
